Holidays in Iran when sightseeing is closed:

 

There are some days in Iran when all sightseeing is closed due to specific religious ceremonies.

We suggest that the trip to Iran not be planned in these particular dates, however, if there is no way to change the schedule, we will organize other programs in each city to make the best use of your time.

 

2022:

 

1-      23 April (martyrdom of Imam Ali, the first Imam of Shiite)

2-      27th May (the martyrdom of 6th Imam of Shiite)

3-      4th June (demise of Imam Khomeini)

4-      7th August (Tasoua, a day before Ashura, mourning holiday for martyrdom of Imam Husain)

5-      8th August (Ashura, a day to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein)

6-      17th September (Arbaeen, forty days after the Day of Ashura)

7-      25th September (demise of prophet Mohammad, the last God messenger)
