Shiraz

Historical and ancient Fars Province, also known as Pars Land, is one of the 31 provinces of Iran.  Pars is the historical homeland of the Persian people and the center of Iranian culture and civilization from the stone age until now.   Pars is the birthplace of the two most powerful dynasties of Iran, Achaemenids and Sassanids.  The ruins of the Achaemenid capitals, Persepolis, and Pasargadae, the tomb of Cyrus the great are amongst some of the ancient sights of the region.  The name of Fars Province originates from Pars and Persian.  Shiraz known as the city of Secrets, is the administrative capital and is famous for its gardens, the wonderful scent of bitter orange and for its poets.

KASHAN

The city of flowers and rose water, Kashan is an oasis in the heart of the desert, a miracle of lush greenness with its unique architecture and impressive historical buildings.  Dive into ancient Persia in Kashan, one of the oldest cities in Iran with objects tracing back to early human civilization on view in museums throughout the world. ISFAHAN

Built by Tahmures, third King of the Pishdadian dynasty, half of the world, Isfahan, dazzles travelers with its architecture, grand boulevards, picturesque historical bridges over the river Zayandeh, grand mosques and skilled hand-crafted works of art. Naqsh-e Jahan Square is one of the largest city squares in the world and UNESCO has designated it a World Heritage Site.

YAZD

One of the greatest Adobe cities in the world, Yazd is a Jewel of the desert.  Located at the intersection of the old trade routes from central Asia and India, the Spice and Silk roads, it is one of the oldest cities in the world with a history dating back over three thousand years.   Yazd was known as Issatis, its current name taken from Yazdgerd the 1st, the Sassanid ruler of Persia. Built almost entirely out of heavy clay soil, the city has thrived for centuries in the hot dry climate through clever architecture and design, its network of qanats to tap into the underground mountain water.  Yazd is the center of Zoroastrianism and its religious tolerance is one of the reasons it is known as a holy and sacred city. The city of windcatchers has been inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List and was described by Marco Polo during his visit in 1272 as a noble city.

TABRIZ

The fifth largest city in Iran, Tabriz is one of the main hubs of industry and commerce in Iran.  This prominent city in north-west of Iran, was chosen as the capital of Islamic world tourism in 2018.  Being located on the Silk Road, this historical city has always been a crucial trading center as well as the closest hub to Europe. On the slope of the Sahand mountain, Tabriz offers stunning monuments, museums and the world’s largest roofed bazaar.

KERMAN

Kerman is a paradise at the heart of a hot and burning desert, where you can find one of the world’s hottest spots (Gandom Beryan) adjacent to the beautiful Persian garden, Shazdeh Mahan with its welcome caressing breeze.
