The magnificent architecture of Iran has always shone like a shining gem among the architectural works of the world and has enjoyed a high rank. Meanwhile, the architecture of the Isfahan school has been the pioneer of this glorious path in various periods and has made the name of Iranian art and culture famous in all corners of the world. During the Safavid era, the city of Isfahan enjoyed such greatness and splendor that they called it half of the world. Among the architectural works remaining from the Safavid era, a complex of a school, a bazaar, and a caravanserai has remained standing, which shines like a unique gem on the side of Isfahan’s Chaharbagh Street. This complex was built by order of Shah Sultan Hussein Safavi, and he presented this complex to his mother. This caravanserai was transformed into a ceremonial, modern, and magnificent hotel in 1336, with the efforts and investment of the Iran Insurance Joint Stock Company.
