Day 1: Tehran

Arrive in Tehran and transfer to your hotel. Hotels are pre-booked from the previous night.

After some rest, we will meet at around 9:00 a.m. to explore the vibrant cosmopolitan city of Tehran.

Today’s sightseeing includes a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site– the former Royal Qajar Complex– Golestan Palace, and continue to the Iran National Museum, and a visit to the Grand Bazaar, the focal point of commerce in Tehran.

The afternoon will be dedicated to a visit to the beautiful natural environment at Darband Mountains.

Day 2: Tehran- Maranjab- Kashan

Morning drive to Kashan, en route stop at the Maranjab desert to create a memorable experience in one of the most famous deserts in Iran, located near the city of Kashan. Walking and jumping on the dunes, safari, and photography are some interesting activities that we can enjoy in the desert.
Then, we will continue our way to Kashan. (335 km)

Day 3: Kashan- Isfahan

A morning visit to Fin Garden, a UNESCO world heritage Persian Garden, with a fabulous environment besides the traditional Borujerdi House.

Then, we head for Isfahan. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel, take some rest, and then take a walk in the friendly atmosphere of this exemplary city. Be ready to be enthralled by the historical bridges over the Zayandeh Rud River (Khaju and Si-o-se Pol) (212km)

Day 4: Isfahan

Today, we will enjoy a full-day visit to the eye-catching Naqsh-e Jahan Square. We explore two of the world’s most magnificent mosques, the Imam and Sheikh Lutfullah Mosques, the former the largest and most splendid monument of the Safavid dynasty and the latter the stunning religious structure shining at the eastern side of Naghshe Jahan Square. On the western side of the square, there is another splendid building, Ali Qapu Palace that served as the official residence of Persian emperors during the Safavid reign. We will also have time to visit Chehel Sotoun Palace with its 20 columns reflecting on the water of the pool to appear like they are 40.

In the afternoon, we will not miss the most memorable and artistic treasure of the Armenian Christians in Isfahan, the Vank Cathedral, as well as the pleasant experience of walking in the Armenian quarters with its fragrant smell of coffee.

Day 5: Isfahan- Meybod- Yazd

Today, we head for Yazd. We will have a stop in the city of Meybod to visit its Caravanserai, historic Pigeon Tower, and Ice Storage. Then, continue driving to the city of wind-catchers of Iran, Yazd. (335km)

Day 6: Yazd

The full-day city tour includes the Zoroastrian Fire Temple and the magnificent Jame Mosque with the longest minarets in Iran alongside amazing tile work. Walking in the historical neighborhood (old city) of Fahadan (UNESCO) is an unforgettable experience.

Then, we will visit Amir Chakhmaq Square and hopefully have enough time for the Water Museum before proceeding to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dowlatabad Garden, famous for its 34-meter-tall wind-catcher and the wonderful atmosphere of its garden.

Day 7: Yazd- Karakal Desert- Yazd

We will drive to Karakal Desert which is considered one of the most beautiful deserts in Yazd. Today, we are going to enjoy an exciting day with camel riding, Safari, and four-wheeled motors, as well as absolute pleasure by walking and strolling in this pure desert.
Back to Yazd to take some rest at the hotel. (140 km)

Day 8: Yazd- Pasargadae- Shiraz

Leaving Yazd to Shiraz, en route we will stop at Pasargadae to visit the tomb of Cyrus the Great, which is a spectacular monument of Persia.

Our road trip continues to Shiraz, the city of beautiful gardens and renowned poets. (448 km)

Day 9: Shiraz- Persepolis- Shiraz

In the early morning, we are going to be surprised by sunlight passing through the colorful windows at the mesmerizing Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, which is also known as the Pink Mosque. Undoubtedly, this mosque is one of the astonishing sites in Shiraz to make you get lost in colors.
Then, we will have an excursion to visit the awesome ruins of the ancient world, Persepolis (UNESCO). It is considered the highlight of Iran. Without question, here is the symbol of glory and strength of ancient Persia, admiring this precious civilization and history with every step you take.
Following with elegant Achaemenid tombs at Naqsh-e Rostam and the archeological site of Naqsh-e Rajab, we will come back to Shiraz.
At night, we will explore the mausoleum of Hafiz, the prominent Persian poet. (50km)

Day 10: Shiraz- Persepolis

On the last day, we will visit the distinguished citadel of Shiraz, Arg-e Karim Khan, the 18th-century royal castle of Karim Khan Zand, the famous king of the Zand dynasty, and the Vakil Complex (bath, mosque, and bazaar) will be our next visit to explore their history and architecture.

It seems that Persian gardens in Shiraz have a different scent. The Eram Garden, for example, surrounded by numerous trees and flowers evokes heaven. If possible, we will find some time to visit another traditional and historical house, the Qavam House or Narenjestan Garden, the charming monument of the Qajar period.

The tour will end by visiting the Vakil Complex (bath and bazaar).

  • What is the best time to visit Iran?

    The best time to visit Iran is normally from April to May and from September to early November. However, Iran, as a vast country is a destination for all four seasons.
